Li Ye and Liu Xinqi ~ Feb 26

Featuring Alfred Sim and our string quartet! 

Li Ye and Liu Xinqi had to coordinate their wedding from overseas, so we specially met them one day before their big day to iron out all details, and our coordinator were also present on the actual day to make sure everything ran smoothly :)

Alfred serenades 3 signature songs with the string quartet for the international guests of Li Ye and Xin Qi this afternoon - What A Wonderful World, Wo Yuan Yi and Fly Me To The Moon!

Welcoming the Snake year in Style!!!

For the DBS Chinese New Year celebrations, we featured Tay Kexin and Alfred Sim on vocals, with Matthew on keyboard, Fatt on guitar, Melvin on bass and Jeremy on drums! 

Rocking the grand stage at DBS's CNY festivities, celebrating with Asia's best!

Our Sparkle Band accompanied the top level management of DBS on their performance item of the DBS Chinese New Tear celebrations. 

Nothing like music and singing to bring everyone together! :)

The Sparkle Team was honoured to have performed with famous Hong Kong Actress/Singer 商天娥! The band also accompanied the star for her shanghai jazz set!

 

The grand event featured a lovely stage and vintage props that dressed up the venue into a scene from the past!

9 Dec ~ Josh and Qiuting's Wedding Dinner at Skyve Elementary Bistro and Bar

Guess whose wedding we were at?? 

It's Josh & Qiuting's  (aka QiuQiu www.bongqiuqiu.blogspot.com) Wedding Dinner at Skyve Elementary Bistro and Bar!

Here's the bride and groom looking blissful after being pronounced husband & wife!
It was a simply lovely wedding night at Skyve Elementary Bistro and Bar, with garden/pastel/themed table decor beautifully decorated by Eternally Yours - Weddings & Events (:




The band also had a lot of fun playing for the great audience, with a specially chosen set of jazzy tunes suitable for the occasion! 

Qiuting also very sportingly took the mic when sabo-ed to belt a tune!

 
Our musicians are wonderful multi-taskers!! James on bass and keys, and Melvin was on guitar and bass!! 

Thanks Josh for taking care of the band and the lovely duo for meeting us before your wedding dinner! We had fun playing for your guests!

Buangkok Medical Green ~ Feb 24

On the last day of Chinese New Year, we visited 3 homes at Buangkok Medical Green (Tai Pei Social Service, Sunlove Home and Silra) and performed for the old folks, bringing them a little festive cheer! 

Music really speaks to everyone, young and old, and it reminded us of the simple reason of why we perform - to bring joy to others :)

This was made possible with the generous and passionate spirit of Davis Ng from Capture Photographytogether with a lion dance troupe!
